In 2019, SCRAP volunteers nationwide contributed almost 19,000 hours of their time and energy to help us fulfill our mission. Most volunteers are scheduled for one 3-hour shift
in the store each week, as well help in many other ways.
Volunteers do things like:
Sort and organize the SCRAP store
Assemble To Go Kits and Collage Packs that we sell in the store
Volunteer at SCRAP events
Assist with Workshops

Volunteer Opportunities in the Store
Organizing/Cleaning
If you love to organize then you’ll love helping us! Volunteers are the main force behind keeping our store clean and organized. You’ll assist with organizing sections, putting
out materials and keeping the store looking nice.
Packaging
Color sort and package all of the little bits that come into our store. From yarn ball bags to fabric packs, bagging game pieces to making bargain bags, there’s a lot you can help us
creatively package here at SCRAP.
Product
Help SCRAP make our ever-popular To Go Kits and Collage Packs for us to sell both in the store and at community events.
Volunteer Opportunities Outside of the Store
If you work store shifts at SCRAP, you are also eligible to participate in other volunteer activities.
Community Engagement
You can help table at volunteer recruitment events, info booths and craft activities throughout our community. You can also help out at our fundraising events.
